This saltbox cottage in the Pocono mountains was purchased as a full-scale renovation project with the intention of transforming the property into a desirable short-term rental. The home underwent a comprehensive renovation, including updates to the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, finishes, and major systems throughout the property.

The design focused on creating a comfortable, modern retreat that would appeal to vacation renters while taking advantage of the property's Pocono Mountain setting. The home was thoughtfully updated from top to bottom, balancing durability and functionality with finishes that would make it an inviting destination for guests.

Although the original plan was to operate the property as a short-term rental, market conditions and the opportunity to sell ultimately led us to bring the project to market. The completed renovation allowed us to successfully reposition the property and sell it rather than operate it as a rental.
